We travel again to the African continent and this time we go south, where we will find one of the most emblematic countries of the history of mankind, South Africa.

We start a new trip through the country and this week we to Tshwane, formerly known as Pretoria, which is the executive capital of South Africa, located to the north of the Gauteng province. It was founded in 1855 and became the capital of the Transvaal in 1860. It has about 1 592 000 inhabitants. The ancient name Pretoria derives from Andries Wilhelmus Jacobus Pretorius, founder of the city. On May 26, 2005 it was decided by the City Council to change the official name of the city to Tshwane, whose derivation comes from a local chief of the pre-colonial period and means "We are all equal".
